September 12: Lobo update
Fall is here! It certainly came quite suddenly, but I think I’ve had my fill of hot weather for the year.
The Paula Red are done. Unfortunately we are in somewhat of a pickle as the Lobos aren’t quite ready and need a bit of time to colour up. If you like them green, hard, and a bit sour (I know most of you do!) Then come give them a try. If you use them for cooking I think they will definitely be ready next weekend. The Dudley Winter are still available; I made some excellent apple sauce with them last week.
We are just getting into the swing of things. Macs in two weeks, Cortland in 3, and Honey Crisp soon after that. Stay tuned for more updates. Hope you have a good week!
