September 12, 2012: Current Varieties and Open Farm day!

Last weekend turned out great considering the windy weather we had. A lot of the Paula Red were happily carted off. The main apple this weekend in the U-pick will be lobo at $0.60 per pound. We will also have Paula Red, Dudley, and Alexander also at $0.60/lb. We are experimenting with a new variety called Ginger Gold, which we think you will enjoy!

Another reminder that Open Farm Day will be September 16th this year. Looking forward to this weekend!

When do you expect to have honeycrisp apples ready for upick?

  2. Admin says:

Hi Norm, it will most likely be in early October.

I’m looking for Cortland apples. Could you please tell me when and how much they will be?

  4. Admin says:

Hi Karen, they should be ready the first weekend of October. I think they will be $0.80/lb, but I will double check and include that in the update when the time comes.
